READING CHALLENGE

Our reading challenge program takes place mainly during school holidays to keep students engaged in reading a variety of books. Titles are carefully selected, and students are encouraged to read as many as possible, with a set goal for the number of minutes or hours they should read each day throughout the course of the holiday.

Participants track the books they read, reflect on their experiences, and share their thoughts with others. There is an intentional focus on selecting titles from several African authors and biographers. To make the challenge even more engaging, we also hold book trivia sessions to test knowledge on the titles read. This program nurtures a love for reading while developing focus, discipline, and critical thinking skills.
